  1. The Ranch no-kill dog shelter needs your support. We are putting on a great sunset boat cruise on Lake Chapala. We hope to also see the full moon rise. Polanco + Steadman will be entertaining us again and Pale' Restaurant will be serving savory roast pork sandwiches. There will also be a few sides and a brownie included. You can get tickets at Diane Pearl or The Scandinavian Bakery in the Laguna Mall.
  2. If you haven't been for a boat ride on Lake Chapala, here is your chance. The Ranch no-kill dog shelter is holding a sunset/full-moon rise cruise on Lake Chapala. It's a really fun event with food and entertainment by Polanco + Steadman.

  4. Yee Haw everybody. Come on out to our Country Western event Sunday, Nov. 17 from 3 to 6 p.m. to raise money for The Ranch, no-kill dog shelter. Ajijic's newest country band will be there, "Charlie and the Whippersnappers". Tickets can be purchased at Chocolac Axixic next to Jitomate Restaurant (west Ajijic), Lilifher Deli a ½ block south of the plaza on Colon on the right (downtown Ajijic) and the Scandinavian Bakery in the Laguna Mall (east Ajijic). There will be limited parking near the event. Shuttle buses will run on Lazaro Cardenas near the event from 2:30 to 6:30.
  5. Put on your cowboy boots and hat and join us for a really fun event coming November 17. You are guaranteed to have a good time and hear some great country music with Ajijic's newest country band "Charlie & The Whippersnappers" plus Abby Rivera too. Emmanuel Campoy, from Emmanuel's Kitchen, is going to be doing our Pig Roast and BBQ Chicken for us. Of course, we will have other great food to accompany it. Whether you live east, west or downtown Ajijic, you will find it easy to purchase tickets: Downtown is at Lilifher Deli which is less than one block south of the plaza on Colon on the right side; buy a luscious cinnamon roll while you're there. Chocolac Ajijic has to-die-for chocolates and is out west right next to Jitomate Restaurant. Our eastern location is the Scandinavian Bakery with the best bread in town located in the Laguna Mall. Yee Haw! Let's have some fun.
