  2. Thank You.Yes Chiapas was my idea and I Made many friends there. Life is diferent there but that is where , I belong Hospitals and doctors are not great but m y Friends take care of me and that is more important.
  3. I have lived In Chiapas 6 months of the year since 2006 so I am not going there without knowing what I am.leaving.I have My personal reasons for going there andsince I work there I know what I can expect. It is not for most people I know here no matter how beautiful some parts are.
  4. It is a beautiful área and easy to live here yes for those who complain they should check other places. In Chiapas we had to get things for an exhibición opening saturday and onnfriday the maestros decide to block all roads In the state..if You think Ajijic is a mess You should have been In Tuxtla stick onnthe Road innmiserable heat..Also My neighbors who have tinacos have no water because the city does not have enough presdure to send the water to the top of the hill and if they did the system.that is old and obsolete would break up..Do not move to México if You want a good infraestructura.wait until the Chapala área runs out of water.. Thait Will be way worse than the traffic.
  5. I am moving away at the end of April, so some people are moving out . In my case to another place on Mexico, not away from Mexico
  6. The problem is not the doctors but the lack of equipment for certain procedure and lack of money in general.
  7. IMSs has been a disaster for the last 2 years.
  8. A friend of mine has been waiting for 2 years for a surgery do i would not bragg about IMSs .
  9. I either paid wit My débito card from BBVA or did a Transfer , i do not remember.
  10. You can play it on the internet and pronto the receipt, no big deal
  11. they say febrero loco...so it is not abnormal to have out of season according to our minds in february.
  12. In San Cristobal where we lack water Sapam said that 38 % of the water delivered is wasted.. via tap, toilets, tinaco leaks... talking about awful and they complain about Cocacola using a huge amount of water but plenty of people do not have tinaco with shutoff valves and as the water is delivered at night only the tinacos overflow on the streets on a regular basis.. How big of a container to you need for rain water?
  13. Many people in CDMX are without water, same here in San Cristobal in Chiapas, the dam near Morelia is very low, we should be thankful for every drop of water we get .. Just try getting up and turning on the tap and nothing.. it is pretty awful.
  14. All the workers that o knew used to come to work walking or on bicucles have now a car. There are many more Cars owned by Mexicans parked onnthe streets as well. yes car sales to Mexicans are way up and the streets and highways reflect that fact.
  15. join the rest of Mexico it is the same everywhere my 40 minutes commute in Chiapas to a small village is now 1h30minutes.Trafic is getting horribl everywhere.. Try the arco nort or Puebla or small towns wher there used to be no traffic..I guess the economy is not so bad and everyone is getting a car not to mention gringos who have 3 cars for people. Everyone wants more and more and it is reflected in the traffic , the overcrowding, the contamination and on and on.
  16. Today I received a message that said that someone was trying to withdraw money 8700 from my account .. did I authorized or not. I saw th message 2 hours later- I said NO. turned off my cards and call the bank in Ajijic and I was told it was a scam. If you answer yes or no they have your number and try to scam you. erase the message and do not answer the phone if you answered the message.
  17. I use the AJijic office where I have known the people there for many years. I give a deposit for the year but I do not pay the full year and pay as I go as I have a couple of meters. Once this year someone from Simapa came to my door to tell me to pay the water. I call the lady in the offfice, she gave me their account number which is at BBVA and I snet proof I have paid to her via whatsapp. The next bill showed my payment. Maybe I got some special treatment because I have known then for a very long tome but that is how I did it. It pays to know the people well here
  18. I got 10 death certificates from the funeral Home and used about 2 or 3 But those were the Mexican ones.I needed a few for the US and for France and the bank in the US but my experience is that many times the original death certificate was returned. I went to Guadalajara to get an apostilled Mexican death certificates for Frame or US i do not remember.
  19. I was reading that the population worldwide was diminishing and that except for some Arican countries, women have way less children aand that problems are looming because of that.. so the overpopulation may just be here for just a few more years but no more.. Honeybee is correct about the glaier dwindling down and that is true in Alaska as well so there is a climate change and it is wrmng up. The cause of it if there is one is another thing that no one seems to agree on.
  20. Yes wouldn t it be nice to have someone pay the taxes and the water and i do not mean a facilitator
