Thanks for the feedback folks. I have a cabin in a remote off grid location - problem is the gas stoves in USA/Can either have a standing pilot light, have a glo-bar designed for connection to 120V, or are specialty items for the off-grid market that cost a fortune due to limited production. TheMexican stove is perfect for my needs and for the price It would still make sense if I don't have to pay a fortune for shipping. I am aware of the potential insurance issue and would take my chances - so for the time being i will follow up with some of your suggestions. Thanks.
