A friend of mine has taken on the task of setting up a new lakeside crime watch site. He has asked me to let everybody know about it: http://www.rtkenterp...ime/default.asp .

This is not a forum format such as here or lakechapala. It is strictly for reporting a crime or reading about what others have reported.

You others who have been robbed by police on the GDL bypass need to file reports here. So far, mine is the only one even though a number of you have posted reports of similar fake stops and robberies on this board. The authorities are more likely to see it if you put it up there. Very easy to do, please do it.

Yes, please. Let's use the site so the new owner has motivation to keep it going.

There should be a rogues gallery of photos of people caught doing crimes both from private security cams and those paraded on the news as many times people reviewing the photos will recognize their attacker or a criminal.

Excellent site design - we should thank The Computer Guy for resurrecting this valuable service.

A friend of ours says that the Mexican papers do show pictures of criminals / suspects. Why doesn't the Guadalajara Reporter?

I noticed recently that there are posted photos of bank 'criminals' at Bancomer Bank and Actinver Bank when you walk in.
At least the photos taken at the ATM machines (I think that's where the pictures were taken) show clearly what they look like.

Great website! Thank you so much for doing this. I especially like the way the link to LOCAL NEWS SOURCES was included. A very valuable resource.

Wince! I certainly hope you didn't intend your remark to be offensive and racist, but that's how it appears.

I believe he designed the site, but is not the person who resurrected or is paying for it. That person posted on this board last week about doing this.

Everytime I get into this site and click on view crime reports, all that comes up is that the site is under construction. Where have I gone wrong?

It's not going to be active until June 1, according to the site.
