On your way to Vista del Lago you pass a typical Mexican village Called Santa Cruz. A few kilometers from Santa Cruz is Vista del Lago as you turn off the main highway you drive through a gated entrance, on your right is an 18 hole golf and country club that is lush and green all year round, and is the only course that permits golf carts in the Lakeside area.

Many people that belong to this golf and country club come from as far away as Guadalajara. As you drive beyond the golfers paradise you can see lovely homes that are nestled in the side of the mountain. This is a placid residential area in which to live. Most of the homeowners are avid golfers or folks that like to hide-away from the hussel and bussel of the everyday life. The nearest store is a few kilometers away.

Vista del Lago is just 5 miles from Chapala, which makes it easy for running your errands.
