TEN lakeside bridge players ventured to San Miguel Allende for a sectional. They toured a fabric factory owned by the Martells, sponsors of the event and were invited to the estate for lunch. The resident cat has a favorite spot in the TV room. If someone takes his seat, the cat sits in front of them and stares. If that fails, he jumps up on the arm and stares. If the person is still anchored, the cat unsheathes claws and runs them lightly down a bare arm or begins to unravel fabric. The last maneuver causes the sitter to relinquish his seat.
