THE LEGION WINE & CHEESE TASTING event held August 11 was a well-organized affair that was enjoyed by everyone present. Diane Clonts and Ann Venner prepared and served the snacks—a small word to describe the delicious offerings that included cheeses of varying textures ranging from Cheddar to Camembert, shrimp, chicken salad and more. The wine presentation was delivered very professionally. All in all, it was a good day for sipping and snacking with friends—hic.
