MORE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS were held around town. Friends and colleagues of Anita Wikum, Treasurer of the American Legion’s Ladies Auxiliary, threw a party for her following their monthly meeting that included food and beverages. And over at the Casa Ancianos, the birthday party for Casa President Marlene Dunham was a lively affair, with music that was so enticing some of the elderly residents were up on the floor hips swaying and shaking to the Latin beat with the youngest of them. At the news that the Lake Chapala Rotary Club was donating a specially equipped van, commercial clothes dryer and much needed mattresses for the elderly residents, Marlene Dunham had lots of reasons to celebrate.
