A Marriage Milestone

     This month Jerry and Shirley Mayfield celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary, and wonders of all, the two are still as in love and caring of each other as they were when they became child-bride (Jerry’s word for Shirley), and groom. Jerry is one of Ajijic’s best and most professional country-music players on the Ajijic circuit. His tune “Look at Us,” is a tribute to his beautiful wife, their marriage, and his tremendous talent in the field of writing music. We congratulate this popular couple on achieving what would be considered in this age of changing partners without a backward look, a true phenomenon.
