Chapala American Legion Post 7:

     Monday night at the legion post home is becoming a tradition with some folks at Lakeside. The Auxiliary serves up a meal like mamma used to make, consisting of an entrée, usually mashed potatoes and gravy and vegetable for 50 pesos, and picker Jerry Mayfield entertains for good listening and dancing. Happy Hour for mixed drinks is 4 p.m.to 6 p.m., they start serving dinner around 6. If you haven’t visited the post lately, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the new all-over paint job, and new dancing and entertainment area where the pool used to be.
