Jerry Mayfield Band Opens At Lakeside

     Jerry Mayfield, singer and guitar player, and his legendary group of professional musicians—which includes Ron Baker, lead guitar, Alan Bedford on drums, and Jimmy Barto on keyboard—played to an an enthusiastic full house at their opening engagement as the designated House Band, on Thursday, January 6, and will be playing every Thursday night in the future. The club features a different musical group every evening. Dewayne Blackwell, internationally known composer and singer, appears every Tuesday night. The club derived its name from one of Blackwell’s most famous hits, “Mr. Blue.” Dinner service is available 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. every day. Reservations at 766-2245 is advised.
