Walking the Walk

     * The “Centro de Formacion Jaltepec” was the place last month. This Hotel & Hospitality Management School was upgraded to a Tecnico Universitario en Hoteleria two years ago. In October, 16 students graduated from this institute in full Cap and Gown. Just try to imagine the pride such an accomplishment engenders. We congratulate the students, their generous sponsors, the school and the tireless volunteers who made it happen, spearheaded by Linda Buckthorp. “Your support does make a difference,” Linda says, “not only to these young ladies but also to their entire families, for generations.”
     The traditional Christmas Dinner for this helping organization is slated for December 14. Keep an eye out for details and plan on catching it. You’ll enjoy the Panamerican University Choir prior to a full and nostalgic Christmas dinner, served by the students at the school.      * Just confirmed: Lloyd´s Investments will have an additional presentation of their recent Lloyd Cash Card on Friday, November 5th, at 6:30 PM, at their Ajijic branch.
