Signing In

     * What a rainy season we had. Lately I’ve been reading how the lake is at the highest level it’s been for six years, eight years, and other numbers. Personally, I’ve never seen it this high in 25 years, though I do remember once when the rainy season lasted about 14 months.
Why is the lake brimming over? Was it our success at being included in the international Living Lakes organization? Was it the Hands Around the Lake get-togethers? Maybe all those prayers? Or was it a fluke of nature, or nature adjusting itself, as it seems wont to do? We really don’t know, but we don’t have to know in order to enjoy its gifts and be strengthened by the sight of its graceful abundance.
