     * Loretta Rollins, from Guam, is a five foot two inch dauntless lady who became Air Assault qualified with the Screaming Eagles at the age of 23. Loretta calls this outfit "the greatest first outfit in the army." She served seven years in the USA reserve and five years of active duty.
Twice she parachuted 3000 feet off the ground, and she earned an open water scuba diving certificate for rescue to 90 feet into the Pacific. Her roughest time was ten days with Air Assault School where they did twelve marches in three hours in l9 degree Kentucky weather carrying a full pack. Loretta won her silver wings and every ribbon that a peacetime soldier can win.
Loretta says she loves her life here in Ajijic and her major interests are her husband John, a scientist, her dog Bandit, and her miniature clay art work. Thanks to this superb, cheerful veteran.
