      * You may have heard that locals Ann and Jim Scott’s daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Bill, are appearing on a reality TV show called “House Rules,” sponsored by Lowes Hardware on TBS Superstation. Three couples live in and renovate three houses, and the couple who gets the most votes from America wins the house and $50,000.
      The keys to the house were awarded December 19, just after we went to press, so no way to tell you here whether they won. But the show flew Jim and Ann up for the finale! Whatever happened, it must have been an unforgettable adventure.

      * Lakeside Centerstage presents “So Easy to Love,” starring Sandy Vandermeer, on January 29 and 30, 7:30 pm, at the New Posada, a musical evening of international romantic standards. Tickets are on sale at La Nueva Posada for $100 pesos. Tel: (376) 766-1444.

      * Curious where Kokopelli and Carol Bedford are these days? Well! Wednesdays you’ll find them from 8-10pm at Melanie’s. Fridays at La Bodega from 7:30-9:30 and Club Oasis on Tuesdays for their barbeque dinner, starting 6pm. The group has added Bob Rogers, a pro who plays rhythim and lead, and guess what! Ron Baker’s back! Welcome home Ron!
