Creative Lakeside

    *  Karl Barnhart teaches art in a course designed for beginners as well as accomplished artists. Because it is based on how the brain works, many students find themselves taking giant steps in their artisitic ability and self-confidence.
    * Another favorite, Federico Luquin Guerra, presents “Felugue” at the New Posada August 6, 7 and 8 from 12-5pm. Check out this talented artist’s most recent works.
    * Efren Gonzalez has been having a good year; he presented his first one-man show outside the Lakeside area in Guadalajara, and widened his gallery by the cine to make space for his new art lesson area.

    * A brand new must-see gallery opens in Ajijic on August 20. “Lakeside’s Best” is in the middle of the village on the corner of Ocampo and Colon. Check it out, they live up to the name!
