Charity Frenzy

     * Lakeside School for the Deaf is planning a very special house tour of spectacular homes and gardens for December 18th, followed by a cocktail and botanas party at yet another fabulous house.      * The knockout “Women for Women” CEDEJO benefit was one of the most moving events we’ve ever seen here. The people of this town showed such support for Sylvia Flores and this group, it couldn’t have been better if the Pope had personally handed her an award. Organizers thank the many folks who helped and the wonderful women who came.

     * The Red Cross benefit Octoberfest was another hugely happy-making charity event, with excellent ticket sales and support. Looks like even though these charity deals are starting to overlap, they will be well-attended and productive.
